Frequently Asked Questions

How long does an aid delivery take?
Emergency aid is typically delivered within 24 to 48 working hours to the designated Omid ID holder anywhere in Afghanistan by our Atalan team. In rare cases, deliveries may take longer due to unforeseen challenges such as weather, security issues, or regional access restrictions.

How much does Aseel charge per delivery?
Aseel charges a $7 Atalan fee for each delivery. This fee goes directly to Atalan, the delivery service that ensures the items reach the Omid ID holder on time.

Where can I track the package I sent?
You can track the package you sent through Aseel’s DirectAid from (My Contributions) section in your profile or by checking your email for donation updates.

Can I send the aid to anyone in Afghanistan through Aseel’s DirectAid?
Yes, through Aseel’s DirectAid you can send aid to any individual or family in Afghanistan. Donors must provide the beneficiary’s details, including name, province, district, and at least one active phone number, to ensure accurate delivery.

What is an Omid ID?
Omid ID is a unique identification number assigned to each family registered through Aseel’s Emergency Response program. Each Omid ID helps track a family’s location, contact information, level of need, and the support they have received so far.
